The Huda City Centre-Cyber City corridor has received official approval, marking a significant milestone in connecting Old Gurugram and New Gurugram while establishing a vital link to the Indian Railways. This ambitious project aims to enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents and commuters in the region. The approved expansion plan includes the construction of 27 new stations spanning a 28.5 km stretch.
Over the next four years, an estimated expenditure of more than Rs 5,400 crore will be allocated to realize this vision. In addition to connecting Old Gurugram and New Gurugram, the future extension of the network will seamlessly integrate with the Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, providing enhanced transportation options for travelers.
The implementation of this project falls under the responsibility of the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited (HMRTC), ensuring efficient execution and high-quality infrastructure. With the inclusion of various stakeholders and financial support from international organizations, this metro expansion promises to revolutionize the transportation landscape of Gurgaon and bring immense benefits to the region.
